These are the Karachi vets who step in to save donkeys that are abused or injured in Pakistan’s remote villages.
The program, launched by the Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation, sends the vets out every two weeks to treat the beasts of burden who work throughout Pakistan. In doing so, the donkey camps also help the desperately poor donkey owners.
